Malcolm and Megs were both born in the UK, when Megs moved south for University they met at church in the town Malcolm grew up in, Brighton. They led the youth as part of the leadership team at their home Church, CCK and in 2008 felt God lead them to move to South Africa.
In 2000 Megs came to stay in Pietermaritzburg for 6months as part of a gap year, serving in a local Church and outreach centre, and when Malcolm visited her, they fell in love with the country together. Over the next five years or so, God grew in them both a desire to serve Him and their love for South Africa, and so they left their beloved hometown to follow Him and the dreams He was giving them.
Both Malcolm and Megs are school teachers by trade and have a real passion for young people. Malcolm loved school life whilst they were living and teaching at a local high school especially being involved in all the sporting activities! He loves football (soccer!!), Rugby, golf, cricket and in fact most sports. Megs spends most of her time with her three young kids and also loves running, movies and hanging out with friends.
As a family they are dedicated to serving the people of Benoni – yearn to see people’s lives transformed by the amazing gospel and are convinced that God is building His Church - the amazing bride of Christ!
